Local meeting update April 2010

Hey all.

Quick update on the latest happenings...

1) COC Carseldine Men's breakfast - Jesse guest speaker
24 April 2010 - start 7am.

2) Gold Coast Paradise Point Church outreach (wk 2):
9am and 6.30pm - Paradise Point Community Hall

Please pray for these meetings - for God to become real in a real way to all who hear.

2 YEARS TO LIVE...and counting...

Brief summary:
* Jesse Padayachee is an ex-mechanical engineer.
* Cookie, his wife, is an ex-school teacher.
* South Africans who migrated to Australia in 1988.
* 1989-Cookie was diagnosed with a SOLID brain tumour. Calcification of her brain cells into a solid tumour with the same denisity as her skull-i.e. a tumour that was solid as a bone growing & tunnelling its way through her brain.
* Tumour was round like a donut (with cells trapped in the middle). At diagnosis was 1.5cm in circumference.
* Cookie was given 2 years maximum to live with or without the operation according to one of Australia's leading neurosurgeons & the Chief Radiologist for metropolitan Melbourne.
* Either way she would DIE.
* If she had the operation she had a 50% chance of dying in theatre.
* If she did actually survive she would live for a max 2 years as a vegetable & then die. Basically there was no medical treatment that could & would help her.
* Undetered, these ex-Hindu's decided to put their complete trust, their hope, their faith in the Star Namer. The Almighty God of Creation. God manifested in a human body - Jesus Christ.
* Two years on her deathbed, literally, without medical treatment (as there wasn't anything that could help her) Jesus operated on Cookie's head, removed the tumour, leaving no scars in an instant.
* Evidence of healing - her amazing restored health + a new medical report stating "No abnormality of brain substance or subarachnoid spaces has been demonstated on either standard or intra-venous contrast enhanced scans. Conclusion NORMAL cerebral CT scans" -Dr C.J. Holland (Dandenong X-ray Centre)".
*With scientific evidence of a solid tumour before & a medically certified miracle of recreated brain cells, the Padayachee's lives took a twist.
* Every business meeting seemed to get "cancelled" as opportunities & invites to share this testimony kept coming up. 17 years later, Jesse & Cookie are still shouting out the Greatness of the Ocean Taming God, Jesus Christ.
* Jesse, an Evangelist, preaches wherever God leads him to go mainline cities to remote Indigenous communities in north Queensland and rural villages in Australia and overseas.
* The Padayachee's reside in Brisbane, Australia.
